Conference Dinner: transportation, dinner and entertainment

We are going to start just after lunch on the 8th of October. We will visit the beautiful beach of Elafonissi. Elafonisi Beach is located at the Southern West part of Crete. It is approximately 75km from Chania town. Elafonisi beach is famous for its clean water and the pink sand. It really is a rare sight, the sand is pink at most part of the beach. This has happened because millions of pinks shells with the passage of the years have been shreded and broken into tiny pieces from the waves. We will return in time for the Conference Dinner!
The price is 30 euros per person and this includes the bus and the assistance.

Right after lunch on the 8th of October, we will depart for the town of Chania!
The most important site to visit is the museum of Chania.
The Archaeological Museum of Chania is situated close to the old harbour of Chania.
It is housed in the katholikon of the Venetian monastery of St. Francis. During the period of the Turkish occupation it was the Muslim mosque of Yussuf Pasha, while in modern times it was used as a cinema (Cine "Idaion Andron") or a storehouse for military equipment. Since 1963 it has been functioning as the Archaeological Museum of the city.
We will finish in time for the Conference Dinner!
The price is 35 euros person and this includes the bus and the official english speaking guide. It does not include the entrance fee for the museum.
